Ok now I am completely convinced that we (as in me, laura obviously because she is a great singer, eric too cause we all know he can sing also(perhaps the part of the guy with mustard on his pants because that's a large part that needs to be filled and my thoughts are that we may have trouble getting some guys to do it), emma, and natalie, and sophia, and sheen and whoever else I can drag into a part will also be made a part of this) as I was saying before that ginormous parantheyse bubble, that we need to do "Can I Get A Napkin (Please)" for the talent show next year. It's perfect. The music is good, it's comedy, it's music, it's acting, and it's very easy to sing. Plus they offer the lyrics and backround instrumental to the song on the Improv Everywhere website. (I have now downloaded these essentials) Unfortunately it doesn't provide sheet music but that's okay because it has very simple pitches and since the backround music is provided you don't need to record your own or something. It's so perfect for the talent show. We've got to do it!! I will remember this till next year and I will beg (if need be, force=P) you all to do it.
Here's the song as the two guys who made it sang it through with the instrumental music it goes with.

Business Days
Well, I suppose that I should inform you that since the fever on Friday, I'm no longer sick. But now Spencer is. He caught my... 24 houritis illness which otherwise lacks a name but do to it's recent spreading it will probably earn itself a shiny new scientifical one, but for now it goes by the 24 houritis illness. Anyway, Spencer now has my 24 houritis illness complete with all the unwanted dressings, like the buns on a carb-counter's burger. Apparently, it's been going around our school. It's gone through students, and teachers who still came to school with a slight fever, and whom endangered my health! But now I am immune (I hope) seeing as I have already caught it. So everyone, I'd be a little careful for the next few weeks because this 24 houritis illness is attacking the schools. Remember to wash your hands, don't get coughed or sneezed on, wear a surgical mask to school, and everything will be alright. Ok so now that my advice on keeping healthy has been used up I'd just like to tell you that I hate business days! No, not like going to school or working. I hate business days for shipping. That's what you get with free shipping, it'll reach you in 4 business days which are from Monday to Friday, not on weekends, and not on holidays. I ordered my guitar online. It is a bargain guitar, not likely to play super well, not likely to last, but enough for me decide whether I want to buy the more like $100 kind(or at least put the $100 on my wish list) I ordered my guitar Wednesday night, so I'm going to likely get this guitar on late Monday or Tuesday. Phooey. Oh well, I can wait.
Diiiiet Soda, spilt across the counter top, there's ice and soda everywheeere now, I gotta clean it up.
That's the beginning of an awesome musical song, "Can I Get a Napkin(Please)" made for a prank done by Improv Everywhere. Never heard of Improv Everywhere? Here's a link! http://improveverywhere.com/ ... I wish I lived in New York City. That's where they're situated. (they have an improv everywhere global but there isn't a single good group near us) Why am I kept from being a part of this? The things they do are hilarious. Just surf their various missions. The mission this one was from is called "Food Court Musical" I think it would be a fun thing to do for the talent show.

Desert Feeling
Well, now I have a fever. When will the torture end? I'm at 100.7 last time I checked but it feels worse. It's kind of funny about the new colors on Mr. C's blog because they are probably the exact colors of my illness. Green for vomit and a burnt desert orange for the heat. This doesn't make them bad colors though. Gasp* I feel like I'm in the Sahara Desert. I'd been laying in bed since around 11. So I'd been just laying there, burning up, for almost six hours... I think. I haven't been thinking quite clearly. I kept saying to myself that I should get up and post or do something, but the heat was just making me too tired. Ugh, I just feel awful. My face is telling me to dip it in a sinkful of cold water. I think I'll just go get a nice cold wettish washcloth when I'm done posting. Mmmm, that sounds good. I'm also hungry. All I've had today was half a banana and like 3 glasses of water and two of sprite. I'm suprised I'm not dead already. First exhaustion and hunger, then heat and exhaustion and hunger. I can feel myself slipping. I guess now would be a good time for that washcloth. See ya.
Oh My
Well, last night, from midnight to around 4 in the morning, I spent my time projectile vomiting and having diarrhea. EEEW! I won't give any disgusting details because I'm still woozy as it is. But a more proper description for my night was, exhausting. I got up at least 15 times to puke and or do business. Quite awful. I felt like I was going to die from exhaustion or dehydration before the night was over because I couldn't get any sleep cause I kept having to get up, and I couldn't drink anything because I'd end up rejecting it and oh great more vomit! So now I'm really tired, obviously not at school, and drinking some sprite my mom got me because you know even if I throw it up again later I'll at least have gotten some calories, plus it's settling my stomach a little. Unfortunately I really just have to stay sitting still. If I walk around to much I get sickish again. I think I'm going to be losing some sprite and banana soon. (my meager, only food I could keep down, breakfast) I'm trying to keep it down, because I'm still starving but if I eat to much it's back the toilet for me. Groan* My stomach hurts. Also, I was wondering why everything in my life these days is being prophesied. For instance, in the two days before the earthquake we had an earthquake drill and the very day before it happened my mom was talking to our neighbor from California saying that we don't have all those earthquakes here as they do in California. And now the day before my vomiting spree, in science class we were talking about vomiting and I told the story of Spencer's morning vomit escapade. One thing I keep relating my illness to is this card a guy made among others on his site that explains the "1000 Blank White Cards" game. Here's the site to look at... http://www.geocities.com/nconner23/bwcards.html The card is on the site. Just scroll down. You'll be able to tell which one I'm relating to.
This is a little after I just finished this post. I've decided not to double post and just add on here. I was looking around my blog and, guys remember on "The Thing About Fancy Restaurants" when someone posted anonymous and said they were Laura but it wasn't Laura? Well, obviously this is the same pest who said my blog was good or something like that and we still don't know who it is. Also back to my phrase from the other day, heck, I just don't care. I don't mind having someone I don't know on my blog. Hmm. It seems as though I should, but my guess is that I have some relation to this person because otherwise if were someone who I didn't know, they would put their name. Plus, I think the anonymous person left, or died, or fell down a well and broke their spine, oooor...Whatever. Heck, I just don't care! And now I'm off to vomit and have diarrhea. Urrrg, I hate sickness.

In Limited Stores
Hello all. Everything seems to be a little more focused right now than that last post was. I wasn't in a very good mood when I wrote that. Not necessarily happy but not sad or angry. Just bored... and really tired. I think naps are a very impostant thing. So is music. Hmmm, still a little rambly. That's been happening often recently. Not sure why but I'm talking a lot again. I remember around last or last last year I just didn't talk as much. But before that I wouldn't shut up. And Now again I wouldn't shut up. For awhile I just didn't talk nearly as much as my old blabbering and current blabbering self. But now I'm back to "Gemma the girl who never shuts up, and who is always bothering people with her constant incessant talkyness" which is fine by me. Though sometimes I can't get my point across on one thing at a time because thoughts and things I'm supposed to say and stuff I need to mention always pop up in the way of my original topic. Anyway, today in band Mrs. Pote (the band teacher) was telling us about how her son were talking about cat names for the cat they're planning to adopt sometime this year. Three names her son had chosen were Twinkle Sparkle and Rocko. She asked him where he thought of Rocko and he told her he meant like "Rocko Bama"(Barack Obama) Hehe. Hmmm. Oh ya! Happy Happy Half Day!! I love half days. I needed this one alot because for some reason on Monday at the end of the day I kept talking about how I was so happy it was Friday. I don't know why, it just felt like Friday! This is kind of like me forgetting my age, and also forgetting my art teachers name. I think I have a tumour or some sort of parasitic legion that is eating away at my brain. (haha. fun right?) Before I finish up this post I also need to tell you about my need for an acoustic guitar. I'm not sure why but I have the constant need to learn to play the guitar. I really like how they sound and I often enjoy fiddling with my cousin Kelsey's. And various others I can get my hands on. Oh ya, Kelsey is now in her friends band. Cool right? (Apparently. No really I'm guessing they're pretty good. She recently got an electric guitar (and she had an acoustic before) well not that recently. But anyway she plays very well so I'm sure they're doing well as a band.) Anyway, to get to the point. I'm planning on getting an beginners acoustic guitar likely black or a coffee brown that fades into the middle. (Kelsey's acoustic is really cool. Aqua blueish dark on the outside getting lighter as it goes in but not much lighter. It's very nice, but I'm going for more likely black or very dark brown.) My mom and I have decided that depending on the price, she'll pay half and I'll pay half for the guitar. Unfortunately I'm pretty broke. $153 dollars is all I have(boohoo)(Once I finish my book of poetry and start up my online business on which I will sell the amazing, awesome, super fuzzy, super cute plushies and scented trademark "Sachettes" that I sew, I will become rich, or at least I'll have some money.) I still don't understand though, how Spencer has accumulated somewhere around $800 and counting. So back to the topic of guitars. They actually sell them at Walmart and Target. And they're nice guitars and guitar packs. Obviously not a professional type thing, but something for someone who wants to learn as an offhand hobby. At Walmart there is this really nice black guitar. It comes in a pack with a stand, 3 picks, a tuner, and extra strings. It's a good size. And all the reviews said it's very nice... And it's only $67.88!!! Yay! Must buy! This is by-far the best one I've seen. But wait! What's this? OUT OF STOCK ONLINE?!?!?! WHYYYYY?!?! So later Mom and I are going to Walmart to look at guitars. I will be praying that our Walmart is one of those "In Limited Stores" that has this amazingly in my budget, just right, beautifully perfect, guitar pack.

Walking In From All Directions
There are many things that bother others, things that unsettle them, that I don't even give a second thought. I guess it's mainly because, heck, I really don't care. Plus I am often thoroughly assured by my own precautions that I am perfectly safe. Ya. You just heard the gears in my head turning. Yep, I'm pretty sure that's what that little bit of drivel was. And now all this mindless confusion. I'm sorry, I'm not thinking straight. Dunno why. Too many different thoughts, too many ideas filtering in at once. Maybe I'm just tired. Obviously that would explain some of my lack of detail, and my rambling. I mean as I type this I'm guessing that I sound a screw too many loose. Maybe not. I certainley feel confused. I'm drousy. I am currently unable to stay on and explain one topic. Hmmm, this does not make for good blogging material. Oh but wait! This revisits my first statement. Heck, I really don't care. I'm bored and I don't feel like working with math homework and oh great just realized my project due tomorrow. Oh well, I'm basically done. Well, since I have nothing else too say, see ya.

Aack!
5:35ish am.. in the morning(hehheh)~EARTHQUAKE!!!!!!!
Did anybody else feel that? My entire house shook around 5:35 or 5:30. It's been about an hour since then and we all just went back to sleep. It's kinda funny because when it happened my mom and I ran into the hall and we were trying to figure out what it was. We were right in between my room and Spencer so then Spencer said, "Ya I did that." And we told him that we were pretty sure he didn't so then my mom said ok then do it again. He then commenced to shake his bed and rattle his room a little but otherwise. Nothing. Ha! My mom and I think he just woke up from a dream when it was happening and because sometimes he shakes his bed while he's laying on it he thought he was doing the rattling. It seems he didn't realize that the whole house was shaking. Including my room. Because I have my closets and drawers full of light easily jiggled and jingled to make noise trinkets it was really loud around me. Anyway talk to ya'll at school about it.

Bothered By the World
I know I know. Why does she keep posting, and complaining about everything. I don't know why! I guess I just am, for some reason being needy. Also recently I just haven't been able to shut up. I need to work on self control otherwise I'll never be a solemn, calm, wise person. And will I face indecision my whole life?!? Also right now I was just thinking about school and as a whole I am quite disgusted with the behavior of some kids. I mean I don't exempt myself but I have never been so rude as to call someone a bitch behind their back or to their face or anytime in front of other people(ok I have said a bad word before but it was only at one time and it was the only description that could be used. plus I still feel bad about it because I know cursing is wrong especially in front of other people. nothing is worse than to curse openly once or twice in front of someone because it's very rude. which is one of the reasons why I feel so bad about cursing. this parentheses bubble has gone on long enough. back to the topic!) Too many kids our age, in our school, are behaving as they think that older kids behave. They may think they're acting mature or cool but they're being immature. They curse, say less than appropriate things. I'm not sure, but it seems that recently it's just been getting worse. Maybe I'm being stupid, overreacting, or just exaggerating. Infact, I bet I am! But still, the quick transit from a younger school to an older school does not make dating, cussing, or being obnoxious, disgusting and being just plain wrong and gross all ok things to do. I hope I'm not bothering anyone and I probably am but this blog has become a bit of a place to let off my recent exasperation. And anyway, it is my blog isn't it? =D

Peelin' Skin
Well, as a result of my sunburn my back has turned brown and the dead skin is now peeling off. It's really pretty gross because it makes this sound that is mixed between peeling tape off of a piece of plastic, wood or other solid surface and peeling a band-aid off your arm. It doesn't hurt infact if you've ever put glue on your hand and let it dry and peeled it off that's the exact feeling and texture of the dead skin that I've been peeling off my back. I'll stop with the gory details lest I lose the readers who haven't left already from getting sick of reading my constant incessant updates. I imagine that, unlike other blogs where when people visit they get annoyed because they haven't posted, when someone visits my blog they think to themself "Ugh she posted again"

Self-Conscious Wombats
Ok well hello. I have some matters to bring to hand... Actually, I've just been thinking and I've decided to type out my thoughts for you all to read and then maybe you can give your opinions on these mindly wanderings or something. Anyway,(most of these are things I was thinking about while on the bus) I was thinking about what my mom had said about the type of person I am. She was saying that I'm extroverted when I'm around my friends and people who I know, but when I'm around others who I don't know as well I tend to be more introverted and I keep to myself. For instance, when I'm with my friends at school or playing around I don't care what I do, because they know and like me for who I am, otherwise they wouldn't be my friends, but when I'm on the bus going home, with people who I don't necessarily feel comfortable around who are loud and often obnoxious(heh heh) I feel self-conscious and I just want to blend in. Hmm. Now I seem to have forgotten the other things I was going to talk about. Oh well, nevermind then! Oh ya! One thing that I should tell you, I now have 58 poems written for my book Unexpected Poetry! Yay! And I shall continue to write!

The Thing About Fancy Restaurants
Well today was my last in Florida. Tomorrow morning I take my leave. It was a fun day although not anything huge. We went to this bead place on St. Armand's and I got a bunch of pretty beads including some mood beads. We got back from dinner and I was thinking about what had happened at lunch. It wasn't as bad at dinner but I had been thinking about how annoying it is when you go to a fancy restaurant and the menu is written in like another language. Well the restaurant we went to was a Spanish restaurant and all the titles of the dishes were in half Spanish half English. I also don't like it when I'm at a restaurant and I have barely any time to decide on what I'm eating and that happened. I was scanning through the menu of Spanish named delicacies and searching for something I wasn't to picky to eat. Like an enchilada or maybe a simple quesadilla, but nooo! All these weird elaborate dishes. I always feel so pressured in those situations.
I started this post yesterday but didn't finish so I didn't post it so actually in a little bit we'll be heading to the airport. I don't wanna go back to school!!! Sigh* I don't even feel like doing track. Oh ya, I lost my tooth yesterday. (I also ate alligator at dinner yesterday) See ya I gotta go finish my donut before we leave.

Back From Space
Well we just got back from spending the night with my aunt and uncle in Jupiter, Florida so I figured I'd give a little update since I want to. On Monday, since Sasha is also in Florida in a place near us, she and I met up in St. Armands Circle after Mom, Spencer, G'ma, and I walked across the bridge and to the circle to have lunch. We went back to her place and played around at the beach and looked for shells. Then on Tuseday Mom and Spencer and I left in the morning to drive to Jupiter to my aunt and uncles. We spend Tuesday and Wednesday with them and just got back. While we were there we: climbed and toured a lighthouse, went to an animal sanctuary with a crocadile and an alligator, florida panther, tons of various birds including some bald eagles, and even skunks all among the many other animals they had to see, and we went to a little beach. So it was all pretty fun. I wish I had banana chips though, or some chocolate.

Visiting In Florida
Hey peoples! Today's little update: Today we.... took a walk and saw a (my g'ma estimates 6 month old) gator in the pond. Swam in the pool. Ate lunch. Went to the water front to see a bunch of big sculptures they have up(I'll post pics of them as soon as I can) Then we had gelato. And then we watched the movie "The Visitor" for the Florida Film Festival. And now I'm typing this. It's been a fun day! Time for dinner bye!

Q-pawns, toilet trees, and No idk.
Well I'm now in Florida! Yay. It is so hot! And moist. But I'm happy. It's nice to be with the g'parents again. I loves me some Florida! Anyway I haven't really done much yet other than having lunch so I'll update you guys later on once something interesting happens. Oh ya, I kept saying No hay de que after my grandma said thank you to me in spanish (I think no hay de que is sort of a form of your welcome) and Spencer thought I was saying "No, idk" as in no I don't know. But we got that sorted out. Also we were talking about(this was all at lunch) Q-pawns(sounding like coupons) Toilet trees(sounding like toiletries) and we were discussing how a terrorist could hijack a plane using a pair of nail clippers. (You know, because you aren't alowed to have sharp metal objects on a plane)

Has All Of Humanity Disappeared?!
Hellooo?! Where is everybody!! No one's on soapboxxer, nobody has been on here for awhile let alone even commented, and no one has emailed me. Not even a forward. Everyone is disappearing! Plus there's nothing good on tv, no fun webgames to play, and because of the lack of people no one to talk to and thus I am bored! Sigh*
A Change of Season
Spring Sonnet
Flowers rise from the ground alive once more
Array of colors petals beautiful
Spring the change from our winter gloomy thoughts
Spring showers bring flowers that I adore
Bright weather dampened sometimes by the mist
The occasional rain cleanses the soul
I love the pitter patter on the glass
Gently bringing peaceful rest at long last
Animals come out to play once again
Birds are singing me awake each morning
My joy is only exceeded by my love
This season is so glorious it’s true
And when finished it leaves like a lamb
Tiptoeing out with summer in its place
Flowers rise from the ground alive once more
Array of colors petals beautiful
Spring the change from our winter gloomy thoughts
Spring showers bring flowers that I adore
Bright weather dampened sometimes by the mist
The occasional rain cleanses the soul
I love the pitter patter on the glass

Sunny Orange State
Happy Spring Break everyone! I am so excited for the time off from school. On Saturday we're headed to Florida to see my super awesome(have to brag about them) grandparents, and Bentley the "Amazing Golden Doodle Dog". I'm very happy about this. Sunny skies here I come!

Now I Am Special
Well, I'm home sick as you may have guessed. I seem to have caught myself a throat cold. A moment ago, in my boredom, I was listening to music and singing along and I realised how congested I am. My voice was uncomfortably nasal. So I thought hey how about I try that netti pot thing some guy commented about on Mr. Carter's blog. (I specifically remembered it because I had wanted to try it if I ever got a cold or stuffed up nose) Oh, if you don't know what it is this is a netti pot http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8088601054116305488 Obviously I don't own a netti pot otherwise my mom would've been shoving it up my nose and clearing me up this morning so I could go to school. Instead I used a plastic cup that I sort of pinched so I had a bit of a spout. I didn't put in salt because I was scared it would sting or something but I did pour the water in my nose. Instead of flowing out my other nostril though, the water went down my nose because I had my head tilted back and I ended up drinking water through my nose. Weird huh? It was cool though. I may have to try again. But now I'm like one of those people who can do special stuff like drink something and then cry it out of their eyes. Or someone who can stick a corn kernel in their nose and pop it out of their cornea. Ouch. Never mind then.

Tangerini Bikini and It's All Greek to Me
Well my feet have been thoroughly scraped of any dead (or likely live also) skin. I have super clean hands and feet and yet they are cold due to a lack of my usual coat of dirt and debris.(joking. I'm not that disgusting) On my toes I got OPI's Tangerini Bikini(very pretty shade of orange) and on my hands I got OPI's It's All Greek to Me(a sort of dark hot pink). They always do the prettiest little flower designs on the thumb and big toe nails. My throat still hurts unfortunately and it's really bothering me. My nose is also slowly congesting. Anyway, night night!
Granny Anomaly
Happy April 2nd! April Fool's! Happy April 1st! Today we pranked Sheen and though not very complicated it was pretty funny. I think I'm catching something unfortunately because my nose and throat are super raw/sore. I'm also kind of congested but not the kind when you can breath but rather when you can breathe through your nose but it's snotty at the back, sorta. Plus I'm sneeze spewing on everything. The keyboard and part of the desk now have sneeze on them. My throat hurts! AAARGH! I refuse to be sick over spring break. I am going to get better!!! Erg, my head/nose/throat/stomach hurts. Oh ya, has anyone seen this years Gmail April Fool's Joke? They're basically saying that you can now send an email and have your recipient receive it in the past. If you choose say 1 hour and you send it at 2 o'clock, whoever you send it too will receive it at 1 o'clock, 1 hour ago. Last year they said they now had a button that you could click to have a printout of your email made and mailed to you. Another interesting thing, we have three garage doors in our garage. One is not used, one is for our van, and one is for our acura. Currently the acura has a dead battery and we've been meaning to jump it and take it to the car fixing place because it needs a new battery. Well the door behind our van broke down, and we basically had no way to get out of the garage with the acura still dead, and the repair people aren't coming until tomorrow after we needed to get to school, and my mom and I have a mani-pedi appointment at six which with no car we had no way to get too. Thanks to my go-getter attitude we jumped the acura with the van, moved the acura out of the garage, and my mom amazingly maneuvered the van out of the garage through the garage door behind the acura. It took awhile to get the van out because obviously we had very little "leg room" to get around in. Anyways that what we just finished doing. and now I just finished posted. And that's I just finished doing. Riiiiiiiiight... .. ... .. ...now
