Snowfall

Okay, Thanksgiving has once again brought upon me it's fatty stomach filling wrath of after dinner doom. In other words, I'm experiencing a turkey overload. And for some reason I just can't stop eating! :D Dee food ees so goooood! We have a lot of leftover turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy and it's all so tasty! My mom makes a mean pumpkin pie too and luckily she baked two this year, one of which is calling me to take a slice, smother it in whipped cream, and dig in. Must resist. Really, each time I eat a meal I just can't help myself and before you know it I'm full to the bursting point. Guh. I need excercise. On another happier note, I awoke this morning to find the world dusted with a bit of snow. A pleasant surprise indeed. Of course, most of the miniscule amount of snow then melted into a brown slush, and Winston spent the day going in and out getting messy and wet in the melted snow. Nevertheless it was still quite pleasant. It is only another indicator of the coming winter season. Oh how I do love winter. The beautifully delicate snowflakes and the chill that gives us our reasons for hot chocolate, warm fires, and snuggling up in blankets. Aaaaah wintertime. And who doesn't mind a season that contains Christmas, New Years, and my birthday. (yes, the date on which I came into the world is that important) Also, one more thing to mention are the new gmail themes. If you have gmail then you'll know they now have themes to personalize your email. They're really quite nice, right now I have "Tree" as my theme which is especially cool because you put in your city and it changes the background of your email based on the weather. So, when I got up this morning not only was there snow outside, but also on my screen. How awesome! For those of you who don't have gmail, I pity you. Kidding! I'm sure whatever email you use is just as good as gmail (not really though), I mean except for Natalie. Really, Zoobuh? GAAAH! Does zoobuh change depending on the weather??? I didn't think so! Anyway, gmail is pretty awesome. Such great smart people they have over there at google. :)

The Sweet Smell Of Turkey

I smell TURKEY! ...and mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes, and gravy, and other Thanksgiving scents. And it all smells soooo good. Yummy. I can't wait to eat. My Aunt Pam, Uncle Craig, and my cousins Cara and Kelsey are all coming over for the big meal. I'm thinking about getting out the camcorder as it has not had much use and this is a good time for that.

Happy Thanksgiving! :D

Happy Have A Thankful Thanksgiving

Augh, my head itches. Happy soon-to-be Thanksgiving everybody! I'm glad we get to have Thursday and Friday off. :D And since MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING UP(december 15) I have a nice little updated wishlist in my profile in the case that anyone should like to give me a gift or something for my birthday or otherwise. :P I'm joking, I need no presents from you people. But should you ever find a solid reason for giving me something feel free to peruse the wishlist for some ideas. ;D Ha. Okay, I haven't a clue why but I am suddenly exhausted. It's like a wave of drowsiness just smacked me upside the head.(though you'd think that kind of action would wake me up) Regardless, I am off to finish homework, read, and then sleep. ...I might also work a little eating in there too, who knows.

My Unseen Tormentor

I hate my toes. Not only are they ugly and knobby but I get awful toe cramp/spasms often. Usually it helps to put my foot on a flat surface or even put pressure or weight on it. Though whenever I try to sit down and massage them it gets much worse. So, a couple minutes ago (and I have no clue why this was so funny, seriously I am still giggling) I got a semi-bad one in my left foot. And then it got worse. Muuuuuch worse. So I start jumping around laughing and half screaming in pain. And really this is one LOL moment. Though I really have no clue why this struck me as being so hilarious. Well, I suppose I have some notion seeing as I was hopping around on one foot, yelling "Ow Ow Omigawd Ow OW!", and laughing hysterically. Meanwhile Spencer and Mom are staring at me and discussing some topic about going to sleep or the bathroom, I'm not all sure seeing as I was pretty crazed at the time. This cramp stands out among others I've had mainly because it lasted so long. I mean, I was going insane for quite awhile there. I'd say it's a fair guess at five minutes maybe more. Yeah. So I tried sitting down and rubbing the toe which ended up cramping it up further, I tried stamping over and over while screaming at my foot... nope, didn't work either... so I basically just ended up half running half jumping around the hallway until my condition finally, thank goodness, subsided. That was not fun. And yet the entire time I could not suppress a strong fit of giggles. Anyway, that was a rather unpleasant experience and I do hope it never happens again. :)

I've decided to go through my notebook and post my various doodles. These are the things I draw to entertain myself at school rather than pay attention in class. (just kidding, I usually do these in free time not during class 'cause I'm such a wonderful student :P ha)

...Heh heh, I just noticed that I spelled "panera" wrong, with an extra a like "panara" in some of the pictures. Ha! It's probably because I was sick at the time I drew those and could only focus on the thought of warm soup. Yeah.

The Uncertainty Principle

I am tired. Anyone else think it's great that its been snowing a little today? I really like it when the climate gets cold because then it feels all nice to be bundled up and warm inside. I always enjoy the opportunity to get wrapped in blankets and snuggle up in my bed or on the sofa. Anyway, back to my sleepiness. I've been soooo drowsy today! For that I am now off to go do my math and then I plan to take a nice long nap.

I Just Love You

I am tired, no, I am exhausted. I've had too much work to do!!! A math quiz yesterday, two tests and a quiz today, two tests tomorrow, two writing assignments due, one was due Monday and one for tomorrow, a science leaflet thingy to make in three days that was due today. There's been so much to do this week. I mean, it's not just that stuff, there has been even more. And not just school. But anyway, you know what my other problem has been recently? Every night around six or seven recently I just can't believe it's still only six or seven. By six o'clock it starts to get pretty dark out. It just doesn't make sense to me. I'll be doing my homework and when I look outside I start to think it's late but then I see the clock and it's only seven. I don't know why but setting the clocks back has really been messing with my brain this year. :P Ha. And let's seeeee... Well, I've got to be off, I need to study a little more for those tests tomorrow. :( Ah well! :D

Who Is Like God?

So, in an effort to decide on some character names to use in a narrative I'm having to write for langauge arts I checked one of those baby name websites. Having looked through the popular names section and other areas on the site I have found a name fitting for each character. While I was on the site I looked up Sophia which means wisdom, Natalie meaning born on Christmas day, Eric which means always ruler, and Sheen wasn't on there but the name Sheena was and it means God is gracious and it's Scottish(we all know sheen means shiny anyway :P), then of course I tried looking up yixin but that wasn't there so I tried yi and xin and apparently(according to BabyNames.com) yi means happy and xin means happy so does that make sheen happy happy? Anyway, I also looked up laura which means laurel, and Emma wich means universal. Upon looking up my name I found that it means precious stone(der, I already knew that) then I looked up my middle name and it means defender of men. Ha! Does that make me Precious Stone, Defender of Men? :P I bet you can tell I was a little bored. I'm so happy it's the weekend. Yay! I like having time to be bored. Not that I don't get bored during school, but at home on the weekend I can do something to stop my boredom. At school all you can do is sit and listen to the lesson. Or doodle. :D

Later...

Augh! What to do, what to do. I now have two narratives that I could use for language arts. I had two good ideas so I wrote both, and now I don't know which story I like better. :( Great.

Children Can Be Weird Sometimes

Why is it that when we were younger so many of us wanted braces? Or am I the only one? I mean, I recall a short time when I was little that I wanted braces, and when Spencer got glasses I can remember wanting to get a pair also. Of course, when Spencer and other friends of mine got braces I realized how much I REALLY DON'T WANT BRACES! But of course I have to get them. Dumb teeth. :( I guess I won't really mind too much as long as I can get the colored bands. The ortho Spencer goes to right now is really traditional and he doesn't do colored bands. Oh no! But mom is talking about maybe letting me go to someone else. I hope so. Frankly I just want to get it over with. I'm not gonna enjoy it but I don't think it'll be too ridiculously awful. Unfortunately I have to wait until all my adult teeth come in. I still have a few to go. :( Ugh. I really just want to get everything set up and get them on already. The sooner I can get them off. I don't want to have braces two or three years from now. Augh, I just hope I don't have to have them on for a long time. You know, I'm not entirely sure why I'm fretting over the subject right now since I won't be getting them for awhile.

Naaaaah!

"NAAAAH! I dun wanna go back to school!" Actually I do want to get back to school to get everything back on track. I really wish I'd been able to go to school today because now I have: two homework worksheets to make up, two tests tomorrow to prepare for, math notes to get, a math test on Wednesday(might be able to do it on Thurs. but I'd rather just get it done), keyboarding work to do, keyboarding timed writing #8 due tomorrow which I've only tried twice so far, and more. AUGH! I hate illness. I hate back-up in work. Arg. ARG. Anyway, I spent my day moping and sick. I got done what I could, but it's not much because I didn't have all the stuff I need to do certain homeworks. Sigh*

Dripping Wet? Follow ME!

Like the change in design? I thought I'd try something different. Also, Emma's post reminded me that I was going to add the followers gadget so please, follow me! (because who doesn't like my blog? :P) How did Halloween go for everyone? I didn't go trick or treating, instead we watched tv and handed out candy(lol, only two people came to our house, our neighborhood never gets many people, dumb cul-de-sac!) And, of course, the next morning I had to get up early because we were going to the Girl Scout Convention in Indianapolis and the State Museum with some of our girl scout troop(Natalie was among us) It was pretty enjoyable I have to admit. First we went to the state museum to see an exhibit they had on girl scouts, then we went to the exhibit on chocolate. Both were fairly interesting, plus I bought a South Bend Dark Chocolate Bar, yummmm(I loooove dark chocolate), in the gift shop for the chocolate exhibit. Then we went to the museum gift shop where I saw the BEST stuffed walking dinosaur EVER!!!! But I didn't get to get it. :( WAAAAAH! :( Shwiffle. So, I put him on the wishlist in my profile! Take a look. Instead I got 15 small marbles and one medium marble. :) I think I might like to collect marbles. They're like little pieces of art. Actually, they ARE little pieces of art. After the exhibits we went to the convention hall and were there for 2 or 3 hours. There were all these stalls giving out freebies and stuff. I got lots of loot so it almost makes up for not trick or treating. That was definitely a lot of fun. SO, have we all set back our clocks? I hope so, otherwise you might be a little early out to the bus stop on monday morning. Anyway, I have homework to get done, tonight we're going to my aunt's house for a game night so I must not procrastinate. Eh-heh, what's this!? Are those apple and pumpkin pies I smell baking downstairs? Why yes! For game night of course. Mmmm, pi, yummy. Okay, off to do homework!
