I typed this yesterday…
Our internet isn’t working, this is a post entirely typed in word. I feel so cut off! The tv’s aren’t working either. I don’t know exactly what the problem is, all I really know is that I can’t get on to check my email, talk to friends, or do any of the things I usually spend so much time on when I’m on the computer. It just feels so weird whenever this seldom occasion comes up that we have no internet or TV connection. It feels so detached. I can’t see what’s going on everywhere else, I can’t waste my time away as I often do surfing the web, and I can’t mindlessly entertain myself which I so enjoy. I’m ashamed to say that I'm addicted to the technology but it's true. Whenever we want or need to get on the internet or watch some TV we just can, it’s simply there and I don’t think another bit about it. But when it isn’t there, when I try to do what I am so used to having available and it doesn’t work, well it drives me crazy! I suppose it’s for the better because I can focus all my attention on my oral report once I finish this post. Yes, posting is more important than homework. Even when I can’t post what I’ve written until the internet starts working again. Ah well, I suppose I’d better get to work.
Later…
Well homework is done. I have nothing to do. Still no connection, guh. And I have nothing to read either. I mean, we have tons of books but I’ve read most of them and I just don’t feel like reading. Ho-hum.
Later Later…
Agh! I’m so bored!

Nothing to do? Jeez, there's always something to do. Why don't you go outside and play with Winston, or write some poetry by hand.
Or bake me cookies.
Well, I did write some poetry. It was not the entire computer that was messed up, but really. Play with Winston? Are you kidding me it was cold out! :D I did play with him a bit inside though. P.S. I don't bake cookies much. And I definitely don't bake YOU cookies, Laura. :P Kidding. ... or am I? No, I am kidding. ;)
I, being the glorious, wonderful, amazing, fantabulous friend I am (and yes, I do deserve all of those lengthy adjectives) would make YOU cookies WHENEVER you wanted me to make you some. Provided we weren't out of flour.
